LGX and LPX Series Saw Chain
Portland, Oregon: February 13, 2006 – Oregon Cutting Systems Group (OCSG), a unit of Blount Inc., proudly introduces our new 72, 73 and 75LGX and LPX saw chain.
The new LGX series saw chain features advanced grind geometry providing faster cutting speed right out of the box! The new grind also dramatically improves chain efficiency in all cutting modes, resulting in lower operator feed force. New revolutionary *StabL-Link™ drive links are also featured on this saw chain. These drive links significantly improve performance, increase cut precision and, extend system life. In addition, new blued cutters offer superior corrosion resistance, base-cutter hardness consistency and, a new "Pro" look.
Other time-proven OCSG features incorporated into this saw chain include: Ramp-shaped depth gauges that reduce kickback without affecting performance; LubriLink™, a lubrication enhancement feature that promotes reduced chain stretch and longer life and, Witness Mark™, a feature making sharpening easier and more consistent.
The LPX series saw chain has the same features as the LGX series saw chain. However, it also has bumper drive links to help reduce kickback.
